CYE Christ Academy is a small private, Christian 6th-12 grade school located in Bay City Texas. We are committed to provide your child with the best academics and spiritual development. Our academic program is rigorous and focuses on the main four core subjects combined with a Christian-based curriculum. Our students are offered AP, Dual Credit classes, and College/Work Readiness courses.

MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of CYE Christ Academy is to provide academic excellence in a Christian environment enabling children to grow spiritually, intellectually, physically, and socially, maximizing their God’s given talent and potential. CYE Christ Academy serves to provide academic excellence to our students with emphasis on discipline centered around Christ. Our curriculum includes TEKS standards and Abeka Christian-based instructional tools and resources.

Carol Elkins
Head of School
Mrs. Elkins holds a Masters in Sociology and Educational Policy for Columbia University, Teachers College. She also has a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology and Political Science from Lehman College, CUNY. She taught in the public educational system for over 20 years educating young minds to adulthood. Most of her academic career was in non-profit education in New York City. She relocated to Bay City, Texas and taught in BCISD for over 6 years and was awarded the Teacher of the Year in 2021.
Mrs. Elkins felt the Lord was calling her to establish a private Christian school, and she stepped out in faith and founded CYE Christ Academy in August of 2022. She works along with her husband, William Elkins III, who is a pastor of their local church. The couple also co-owners of Serve With Love Ministries, a non-profit 501(c) 3 organization that provides several services to the community including CYE Christ Academy, Biblical and Marriage Counseling, and Financial Education.
Mrs. Elkins and her husband have 3 children. Chanae who is currently working as an Attorney. Tyler works as a Process Technologist and is married to Allie. Celeste is currently working toward a Nursing Degree. Carol and William love spending time ministering the Word of God to others, traveling, reading, and collecting sports cards
